When you order a WindyTree, what you’ll receive is SIMILAR to the numbered tree in the photo which you select. We can’t make all these trees precisely the same, but we can offer them, as long as you can give us a little artistic licensure. We CAN make them within an inch of the stated height, and we do try in every possible way to make your tree as close as possible to the one in the photo. A peruse through any forest will feature one if not a multitude of fallen, or "downed" trees. Fallen trees may occur for several reasons, but typically one of two: Either they fell due to somebody (or something) cutting on them, or they were "nudged", by weather such as wind, or electricity. Sometimes they rot from the inside out, predisposing them to this condition. So what does this mean for the railroad? One could feasibly imaging a rambling loco climbing or descending a grade, with individual trees above and below. A fallen tree visually accentuates that grade. Down on the flats, it draws a viewer in more closely to examine the detail.
