Oregon Meets

I have always enjoyed displaying product at the local meets. As Eugene is my nearest town with a meet, I have been able to attend, but just a few times. The Willamette Valley Model Railroad Club does a fantastic job, and this is a big show for an Oregon show! Hattie came with me on the last go, two years ago now, and that was a huge help. As many readers may know, going solo is do-able, but requires a monumental effort. I like to bring the overhead signage and lighting. I met so many interested modelers at the meet, I just feel so inspired. I do try to assert some self control, but I can't help but seek out all those goodies I know I'll have a hard time getting to weathering and using on my small layout. If I can make this meet every other year, well, that is my goal for right now. Honestly, with Coastman's I should be travelling the country. Someday I hope to make it to Colorado, and then perhaps Amherst, at least in so far as a customer. If anybody has any interest in showing the Coastman's products at shows, I'm all ears.
