Supplies for TreeMaking Since 2011

Special Notice: I am on a short hiatus from making trees.

The doc says I need to let my shoulder heal up. Three weeks. I might start in on trees again in two weeks. I plan to finish up the existing orders which will ship Monday 2/29. I will then focus on getting more kits and other such items into inventory. I know I'm out of variable heights tree kits and other items are out or in short supply.

Most of the the Ready-Made trees won't be purchasable during this time. I do have a couple boxes worth of the new Speedy Trees in stock, some snag trees, and some other trees, Craftsman and Premium. If you really need something, send me an email to coastmans@gmail.com and I will go check to make sure I have it.

Of course, I will be making trees again soon! I plan to start again about 3/12. I am very excited about the new Green Branches material and I have been having a hoot of a time making trees with this stuff.  It will be great to be able to make trees again, without the wince! :) -R

Snags are Dead Trees

Consider a Snag Tree for your layout!

Bring on the wildlife!   We have both kits and ReadyMade Snags available.  Right
away, you'll want Preiser Birds and Bird's Nests. We don't carry the Preiser Birds,
but we do have the Bird's Nests here.

Detailed Stumps

Picture
I'm able to make these highly detailed stumps using a combination of tree resin (pitch) and acrylic glues.  I have two in stock at the time of this writing! Vanna the Moose is HO Scale, as always, and lives here permanently. Click on a photo in the slideshow below to see more of it.  Want one? I have two for sale. When they're gone, email me and I'll make you one! Thanks for looking! -Rog
Stump A, the larger one

Detailed stump as per the photo. Would look great in a muddy swamp! Made from real roots (what'd you expect?), tree pitch, and yellow glue / white glue / matte medium or combination thereof. Vanna no go with.

Stump B, the smaller one

Detailed stump as per the photo. Try this on a river bank. Don't put it on a flatcar, it won't look good there. Made from real roots (what'd you expect?), tree pitch, and yellow glue / white glue / matte medium or combination thereof. Vanna no go with. Thanks for looking!
