DEAD NEEDLES
Foliage Highlights: Woodland Scenics Fine Turf Green Blend and then Earth added to foliage surfaces. (standard on Craftsman series trees on this website).

Dead Needles: An addition of a rusty color, airbrushed on, gives the appearance of dead needles (I call it "Bug Spray"). A Coastmans Exclusive.

Moss: Addition of Woodland Scenics Fine Turfs Earth and Burnt Grass to trunk base and some lower limbs.

Dead Branches: Woody materials such as sage and dried roots added to the sides of the tree using hot glue followed with matte medium.

Lichen: A specific paint color that imparts the effect of lichen growing on the tree trunk and a little on the branches too.

Roots: NEW FEATURE - Using a combination of dead branch or real roots material, hot glue, and water based putty, we can add a rooty effect to the base of any tree.
